This trail is over the high mountain passes of Dhauladahar range, the traditional path taken by Gaddi shepherds who wander with their flock to graze their sheep in the high alpine meadows. The trail passes through dense forests into the beautiful and unspoilt valleys of Kullu and Kangra . All along the trail, you will encounter forests of massive Deodar Cedar Trees, green meadows, sparkling streams, deep blue lakes strewn with amazing variety of wild alpine flowers and sleepy little villages. The fauna spotted, can range from Himalayan Brown Bear to the elusive Musk Deer. Of bird life there is no dearth. Including the nervous snow cock and the
Monal Pheasant. Each day presents different and strangely beautiful landscape all lavishly decorated. A trek that leaves one wondering at the awesome beauty of Himalaya.
